We are a family-friendly campsite by Lake Vättern, just south of Askersund. Our goal is to make your holiday feel easy and relaxing. That’s why we focus on a safe environment, personal service, and a place where both children and adults can unwind, enjoy activities, and simply spend time together.

Our History – How It All Began
Hargebadet has long been one of the most popular swimming spots along the northern shores of Lake Vättern. The campsite grew out of a shared love for the beach and the surrounding nature – a place where people have gathered during summer for generations.
Over the years, the area has developed with more accommodation options, improved services, and activities for different types of guests. But the foundation remains the same: to offer a summer retreat by Lake Vättern where people want to stay a little longer – and happily return.

How to Find Us
Getting to Harge Resort is easy. We’re located by the shore of Lake Vättern, about 15 minutes from Askersund and roughly 50 minutes from Örebro by car.
You can drive all the way to the area, and once you’re here, everything is close at hand – camping, beach, pool, and restaurant.

We have 6 employees working year-round, and during the summer season our team is expanded with around 15 summer staff members. Together, we make sure our guests feel welcome, safe, and well taken care of.
