Since its founding in 2004, the theatre has grown and now operates both from Magasinet (the indoor stage) and from the outdoor summer stage, making each visit fun, social, and memorable.

History and Character
The theatre was founded in 2004 by Johan and Jenny Gille and began with summer theatre in the small village of Lerbäck. The indoor stage you see today, Magasinet, is housed in former farm buildings belonging to Lerbäcks Gästgivaregård, giving the theatre a charming and intimate atmosphere.

Askersund – tips from the center manager
Askersund is a place of great variety, and I truly appreciate that everything the town, the water, nature, and culture have to offer is always close at hand.
I work as a tourism development officer at Visit Askersund and also serve as the town centre manager for local commerce.
For guests staying at Harge Resort, there are many excursion opportunities nearby – ranging from hiking and cycling to swimming, cultural sites, and a wide selection of events throughout the year.
One of my personal favourites when it comes to hiking is the Mariedamm Trail. The nature there is both diverse and easily accessible, with an interesting connection to the culture and history of southern Bergslagen. Combined with the charm of a small town and a constantly vibrant event scene, this creates a varied experience, no matter the season.
