Practical information for our guests
Distance from Harge Resort: About 20 minutes by car to the golf club in Åmmeberg.
Course: 18 holes, par 72, with a seaside/park character – enjoyable and accessible regardless of skill level.
Open: The season usually runs from spring to autumn – please check current course status before visiting.
Green fee: Various rates depending on day and season (including member discounts via Dormy Club).
Practice facilities: Driving range, putting green, and practice areas are available if you want to warm up or train during the day.
For guests new to golf
Never played before? You can rent clubs on site, so there’s no need to bring your own equipment.
There are also opportunities for introductory lessons or “Green Card” courses – contact the golf club directly when booking.
More than just golf
After your round, you can relax at the restaurant Club Montagne, enjoying a nice lunch or coffee in a pleasant setting right by the clubhouse.
If you’d like to do more than just golf, there are also padel courts, a golf shop, and a campsite located right next to the course – perfect if you want to turn your visit into a full weekend getaway.

Askersund – tips from the center manager
Askersund is a place of great variety, and I truly appreciate that everything the town, the water, nature, and culture have to offer is always close at hand.
I work as a tourism development officer at Visit Askersund and also serve as the town centre manager for local commerce.
For guests staying at Harge Resort, there are many excursion opportunities nearby – ranging from hiking and cycling to swimming, cultural sites, and a wide selection of events throughout the year.
One of my personal favourites when it comes to hiking is the Mariedamm Trail. The nature there is both diverse and easily accessible, with an interesting connection to the culture and history of southern Bergslagen. Combined with the charm of a small town and a constantly vibrant event scene, this creates a varied experience, no matter the season.
